ABOUT | KIM KOBRYN
Kim started riding at the age of eight, working in a variety of disciplines. She graduated from Delaware Valley University with a degree in Large Animal Science.
Kim is the owner of Cadence Dressage LLC and Callaway Farm, where she runs her own Hanoverian breeding operation. She has shown in hand and under saddle in USEF and USDF recognized competitions through Grand Prix Dressage. She also has several years of experience in training young horses in hand, backing and starting horses for dressage and cross training, and preparing horses of all ages for performance tests and keurings.
Kim has received her USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, through developing and training her homebred, Donatella CF. She has also received her USDF Performance Awards in First and Second levels. Kim has successfully trained 3 homebreds (by different sires and out of different mares) to Grand Prix. She also earned the USDF Breeder of Distinction Award at the bronze level.
Kim has trained and competed in hunters in the past. She has spent the last 15 years devoted to dressage, and is coached by Heather Mason. She also clinics with Alfredo Hernandez and Ulf Wadeborn.
Kim believes in continuing education and regularly takes riding lessons, attends clinics, and seminars in both training and welfare of the horse.
Kim believes in training with patience, and strives to produce a happy, confident, and obedient horse, both on the ground and under saddle.
